Workouts Gym Shipley was opened in September 2008 opened by Bradford Bulls Super League legend Joe Vagana. Many other Rugby League players whom Paul has coached or worked with as a PT were in attendance to celebrate the event - many thanks to all who turned up! Special thanks also go to 'The Cut' Restaurant, which is adjacent Workouts, for their great food and hospitality on the evening!

We were delighted to have Joe come down and meet new members of the Shipley Club along with many stalwart members from Workouts Keighley, many of whom have trained with us since 1991!!

Joe retired at the end of the 2008 season and he is looking forward to a new life 'back down under' in New Zealand with his family having lived in the uk for eight years - we certainly wish Joe and his family all the best for the future.

In addition to Joe Vagana other representatives from the Super League included Oliver Wilkes from Wakefield Trinity Wildcats (Workouts owner Paul Royston supervised his exercise program for the Scotland team that played out in Australia for the Rugby League World Cup) and also involved in the Open Evening was Ian Kirke, who plays with Leeds Rhinos who went on to win Super League Play off finals for 2008!!
